Who, What, Where

Hello! Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. We're back again this week with a selection of things to do and see!

For those of you that want to get to the beach but can't leave the big city, Camden Beach is for you.
900 square metres of sand and fun to be had! Over at the Camden Roundhouse the free beach is decked out with beach huts, a bar, classic pier attractions, an ice cream van and two pop up restaurants!
Made in Camden's Fishy Business will be serving sea bass, mussels and good old fish 'n' chips. For something a bit different there will be an American style BBQ manned by Bubba of Arkansas Café!
The family friendly area will be open Noon until 1pm from July 27- August 24.

The beach will also play host to some special beach gigs, this week on the 16th you can catch an indie acoustic night with the likes of Vanessa Gimenez, Sophie Blackburn and Ellekaye as well as a DJ set by Manish.

A fun city twist on the classic beach and perfect for those that can't get away from the city!

Running from the 12 July - 31 August is the fashion exhibition "Zandra Rhodes: Unseen" at London's Fashion and Textile Museum.
Showcasing lesser known collections and some of the designers more well known pieces it will weave the story of how she came to be known as the "Princess of Punk". It also celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Fashion and Textile Museum which was actually founded by Rhodes herself.

For those of you that couldn't make it to the Film4 Summer Screen and are local to Bristol then there's still a chance to experience some outdoor cinema!
The Bristol Zoo is hosting 3 nights of screenings where a family friendly and a cult classic film will be screened. This week on the 17th is the final night and a chance to go and catch the zoo appropriate Happy Feet or the later screening of the brilliant comedy Anchorman.

An exciting new project by Spike Print Studio and Drawn in Bristol is The Print Shop, a new pop-up store/ studio/ workshop space in Quaker Friars. There will be a host of demos, workshops and talks to go to as well as the store side of things where you can pick up some artwork by South West artists.
If that isn't enough then there will also be a live link up on the 17th August with the acclaimed print maker Yuji Hiratsuka!
