For the fashionistas out there get yourself to Bath Fashion Museum for Laura Ashley: The Romantic Heroine exhibition and get to see some gorgeous dresses that capture the look that Laura Ashley gave people in the 1960s and 70s. Laura Ashley pushed the style of the romantic heroine (think the milkmaid form Tess of the D'urbevilles or Cathy from Wuthering Heights) into the forefront of fashion, capturing the zeitgeist of the time.

For some family fun or even just if you enjoy a bit of whimsy and art then the Gromit Unleashed trail is definitely for you. If you live in Bristol then you may have already spotted a few wacky looking Gromits around and about!

When the trail ends on September 8th the sculptures will be auctioned for charity and the money raised will go to Wallace and Gromit's grand appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital charity. This weekend Bristol will play host to one of the UK's largest public festivals, Bristol Harbour Festival 2013! This is a spectacular event that showcases Bristols music and performance roots. What's realyl great is it's totally free! Venues all down the stretch of the Harbour will be participating with live music and entertainment throughout the day and fireworks on Saturday night! This is one not to be missed for those of you who can make it!
